The catchment includes 90,000 ABC1 residents, comparing favourably to successful regional retail destinations such as Milton Keynes and Exeter. Relatively low cost of living allows residents to allocate a comparatively high proportion of household expenditure on retail categories such as clothing.
Intu Potteries is undergoing a 58,000 sq ft extension as part of a £14 million investment that will further enhance the Stoke-on-Trent city centre. The investment will propel Stoke-on-Trent up the league tables to become one of the UK’s top 30 retail destinations. According to retail analysts Javelin, the city has the potential to expose your brand to a catchment of 870,000 people and a total comparison goods spend of up to £1.5 billion per annum.
