Stafford - Future High Streets
Staffordshire

About
An ambitious set of proposals to regenerate key parts of Stafford’s town centre, through comprehensive land assembly and public realm investment to improve connectivity and increase overall vibrancy and footfall.
A central objective of the proposals will be to increase the number of people living in the town centre, with more than 200 new homes planned.
The proposals also aim to increase footfall through more than 40,000 square feet of newly provided town centre floor space, for mixed use, food and beverage and retail opportunities. These will be supported by a new car park for the town centre.
Several parts of the town centre will also benefit from improved public realm settings and connectivity, such as at the Market Square, the approaches to Stafford station and around North Walls.
