2. Share your Staffordshire Day Mugshot

Celebrate Staffordshire's pottery heritage by sharing a Staffordshire Day Mugshot, like this one of Gemma with her mug by the up-and-coming designer Mandy Billington.

You could use an iconic pattern from a world-famous Staffordshire manufacturer, or show the backstamp to prove where it was made.

Tuck into a tasty Staffordshire oatcake at home, or take part in the Staffordshire Day World's Biggest Oatcake Morning and help a local charity.

Spread some Marmite on your toast: Marmite was invented here in 1902 and is still made in the county.

Or bring out the Branston with your Staffordshire Day lunch: the Ploughman's Lunch favourite was created in Branston, East Staffordshire, in the 1920s and initially made there.
